500 & COUNTING
Last month, Vital Voices supported our 500th Urgent Assistance case through Voices Against Violence: The GBV Global Initiative (VAV). In the four years since this program began, we have provided services and financial assistance to survivors of extreme forms of gender-based violence all over the world. They have experienced the most horrific crimes – female genital mutilation and cutting, domestic violence, sex trafficking, acid attacks, rape and sexual assault – and the assistance from this program is often lifesaving. WOMEN + WATER AND NETWORK NEWS

It’s been 6 months since Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards Honoree, Tep Vanny, was unjustly sentenced to two and a half years in prison. With the court’s recent decision to uphold the verdict, Vital Voices is raising funds to support Vanny’s 13-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son. Contributions will support her children’s education and livelihood, ensuring that they thrive while we continue to advocate for Vanny’s release. Donate Now.
