May 29 and 30: 3rd Vital Voices Global Festival
Our Festival serves as a homecoming for our network of women leaders, partners, and supporters from around the world. It will be held at Vital Voices Global Headquarters for Women’s Leadership in Washington, DC. The preliminary schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, May 29:
- 8:30 am – Doors open
- 9:00 am – 5:45 pm – Festival programming
Thursday, May 30:
- 8:30 am – Doors open
- 9:00 am – 3:00 pm – Festival programming
The Festival is a free ticketed event. Information on how to attend will be shared soon.
May 30: 23rd Global Leadership Awards
On the evening of May 30, we’ll transition to the prestigious Kennedy Center for our 23rd Annual Global Leadership Awards. This event is a celebration of the remarkable women whose leadership is shaping our world for the better, hence our 2024 theme Leading the Rise. The honorees are Activist Aya Chebbi, Movement Builder Nika Kovač, Environmentalist and Government Minister Susana Muhamad, and our inaugural Collective Impact Award Honoree, Safecity Global.
Our 2024 Global Trailblazer Honoree is Maria Ressa, who won the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize for her journalistic efforts to safeguard freedom of expression, democracy, and lasting peace.
Esteemed speakers for the evening include Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton and Diane von Furstenberg and many more.
The Global Leadership Awards will take place at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC. There are a limited number of seats available in the theater. Donate to reserve your seat now.
