Vital Voices Global Partnership proudly introduces a new fellowship designed to support social entrepreneurs and political leaders interested in scaling their impact. The Vital Voices Global Fellowship will be a transformative program designed to empower women leaders working to solve the world’s greatest challenges.
The inaugural cohort will unite 50 diverse women changemakers to build capacity and foster collaboration and cross-issue synergy. Participants in the inaugural cohort will be announced in April 2024.
The fellowship’s structure is rooted in a holistic approach. During the foundational phase, fellows will undergo comprehensive training in storytelling, communications, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Additionally, they will embark on the Vital Voices Leadership Journey (VVLJ), drawing insights from successful women leaders with more than 25 years of experience.
During the fellowship, participants will have the opportunity to attend a weeklong in-person networking, mentorship, and training session at Vital Voices Global Headquarters for Women’s Leadership in Washington, D.C. After the gathering, fellows will delve into a tailored curriculum within their respective pillars, addressing crucial aspects of professional growth, including strategic planning, investment readiness, and effective communication strategies for social entrepreneurs and political strategy, communications, and governance for women political leaders. The fellowship will continue its impact through brainstorming sessions conducted in a virtual setting, providing focused attention to regional and other challenges.
