Voices of Resilience: A Conversation with Susan Keating

May 2020 – Susan Keating is the CEO of Women Corporate Directors – the world’s largest membership organization and community of women corporate board director whose members serve as CEOs, board chairmen, lead directors, C-Suite executives, and board members. Women Corporate Directors is a non-profit organization that seeks to increase the number of women in boardrooms, provide strong pipelines of potential women board members and serve as a visionary board through information and education that keeps members engaged in the mission.

Susan joined Vital Voices President and CEO on the Voices of Resilience Podcast to discuss why diversity and leadership opportunities for women in the corporate board room is essential to companies’ long-term success, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Susan also explained how, during any crisis, companies are encouraged to innovate and adapt – and its women on corporate boards who can help do that. She also discussed the need for stronger pipelines to increase representation of the work of women in business. They also explore how diverse backgrounds of women are becoming increasingly sought after and represented in the board room.
