Sagra Maceira de Rosen

Sagra is the co-founder of Beautiful Projects, a London based, investment and advisory firm.

Currently she is on the board of Directors of global media company Monocle, Italian fashion brand Fiorucci Holdings, luxury travel concierge Voyager Club and car tire designer and manufacturer Omni United.

Prior to that Sagra was a Sr Advisor to private equity firm Terra Firma Capital Partners and was Chair of the Board of its investment vehicle in the sector of premium consumer and luxury brands, The Naga Brands Group.  Sagra has also been the CEO and Board director of London luxury lifestyle brand Amanda Wakeley. Until the end of 2010, Sagra was the Managing Director of the Luxury & Retail division of Reig Capital Group, where she led and oversaw the direct equity investments of the group in luxury, retail and media brands.

Sagra spent the bulk of her career at US investment bank JP Morgan in London, as a top ranked equity analyst and Head of its Luxury Goods & Fashion Retail team and during her last 2 years at the firm she was the Global Coordinator of the Retail & Luxury Goods team.

Sagra is a board member of Vital Voices Global Partnership and was Co-Chair of Vital Voices Europe, their European Board. She is also a member of the International Strategy Forum of Open Dor Media.

Sagra is a regular contributor to Monocle24, the radio service of Monocle magazine, commenting on the luxury, fashion, consumer and retail sectors and has co-authored the book “The Towering World of Jimmy Choo: A Glamorous Story of Power, Profits and the Pursuit of the Perfect Shoe”.

Sagra has an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York and an undergraduate degree in Business & Economics from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

She grew up in Spain, but has lived in New York and London for the last 30 years. Sagra is married and has two daughters.
