Julie serves as Vital Voices’ Vice President for Strategic Partnerships, overseeing corporate and foundation funding.
Prior to joining Vital Voices, Julie was Vice President of Development at Regional Plan Association (RPA), an urban research, planning and advocacy organization dedicated to advancing health, equity, sustainability and inclusive prosperity in the New York metropolitan region.
Before RPA, Julie spent 16 years in development at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) in roles ranging from grantwriter to Assistant Director for Donor Relations. For much of her tenure at NRDC, in addition to fundraising and strategy development, Julie spent considerable time working with donors on their political advocacy to defend and advance environmental and human health protections at the regional, national, and international levels.
Julie holds a bachelor’s of arts degree in political science from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
