Crashonda Andrew is the Executive Vice President and Chief External Relations Officer at Vital Voices Global Partnership, where she leads global fundraising, strategic partnerships, communications, brand engagement, events and convenings, and stakeholder relations to advance women’s leadership and economic empowerment worldwide.

A global philanthropy and external relations leader, Crashonda has helped raise and mobilize more than $400 million in support of nonprofit organizations and communities worldwide. Her work sits at the intersection of philanthropy, private capital, corporate partnership, and social impact, bringing together philanthropists, foundations, family offices, companies, and global leaders to direct resources toward some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

Throughout her career, she has led transformational and major gifts, institutional and corporate philanthropy, disaster relief and recovery fundraising, diaspora engagement, and high-level global convenings that connect capital, influence, and leadership to accelerate meaningful social change.

Prior to joining Vital Voices, Crashonda served as Senior Vice President of Global Philanthropy at United Way Worldwide and held senior fundraising leadership roles at the NAACP and Feeding America, where she built high-performing teams and advanced equity-centered approaches to philanthropy and development.

Crashonda is also deeply committed to strengthening the field of philanthropy and developing the next generation of social impact leaders. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Washington, DC Metro Area Chapter (AFP-DC), has been a guest lecturer at Columbia University on nonprofit management, and has contributed to the Giving Growth Podcast, sharing perspectives on philanthropy, fundraising, leadership, and the evolving role of capital in driving social impact.

A North Carolina native, Crashonda holds an MFA from The George Washington University and a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband and two children.
