Bijan Moore is the Program Assistant on the Leadership and Social Impact Team. He provides programmatic support to the Fortune – U.S. Department of State Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership, a program that connects women leaders from across the globe and provides them with sustainable networks and leadership resources. He also supports the logistics and implementation of the WE Empower UN SDG Challenge. 

Bijan has a BA in International Studies and a minor in Music Performance from American University. During his undergraduate experience, Bijan was able to research and present to the US State Department on the Efficacy of Foreign Aid Allocation to the Northern Triangle region of Central America, and also took part in a study abroad opportunity in Madrid, Spain. Prior to joining Vital Voices, Bijan supported IREX as a Partnerships Intern for the US State Department YLAI Fellowship Program. Outside of work he volunteers as an Education Associate for The Global Center on LGBTI+ Freedom and Education and plays the violin. He is passionate about supporting young people to become leaders in their communities.
