Recipient of a doctorate in ethics and aesthetics under Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Elie Wiesel’s direction, Dr. Guila Clara Kessous, Ph.D. is a UNESCO Artist for Peace and Peace Ambassador. As part as the Harvard Carr Center for Human Rights Policies at Harvard Kennedy School, she received the Derek Bok Center Award for excellence in teaching. As a Rising Talent for the Women’s Forum for the Economy and the Society, she is running the International Day of Women’s Rights at UNESCO and is collaborating with Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Dr. Mukwege in Congo, as well as Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai in Pakistan. Funder of the NGO Resili’Act, she helped hundreds of thousands of people with dramatherapy and is a certified coach for positive leadership. She has been knighted by the French government for her work as an “artivist” combining “art” and “activism” in Bangladesh, Congo, Pakistan and Rwanda.
