Haitian artisan Phelicia Dell, member of the Vital Voices Haiti Chapter, is featured in the Miami Herald today, September 2. The pieces created by Dell and included in heråŹVe`Ve` Collections are more than fashion statements, they are “emblem[s] of identity,” making a name for Dell and her work within Haiti and beyond, as the Miami Herald describes. Earlier this year, Dell was selected as the best emerging handbag designer in a global competition held by designer and Vital Voices board member Diane von Furstenberg.
