Lorena Díaz Quijano is the expert in Digital Transformation and Digital Business at LinkedIn Learning. More than 200.000 people have attended her online trainings of Digital Transformation and Digital Tools and Resources. Half of which are Women.
She is also Internet, Ecommerce and Social Media specialist, consultant & trainer. She has given courses, seminars and conferences both in Argentina and internationally on these topics.
She was the Director of Human Resources and Education Committee at the Argentinean E Commerce Chamber.
She is Co-Founder of PUNTOTALENT (http://www.puntotalent.com), a company which helps its clients to develop and acquire talent through digital strategies and through online trainings, webinars, seminars, etc. Some of PUNTOTALENT clients are Danone, DirecTV, Clorox, Turner Broadcasting, HSBC, KPMG, Natura, Tenaris, Indra, Molinos, Pluspetrol, among others.
Prior founding PUNTOTALENT, she was Managing Director of the Argentine E-commerce Chamber (CACE) generating businesses for online companies members of the chamber as Google, Facebook, MercadoLibre and online business units of big retailers as Walmart, among others. At CACE she organized and co-organized the Cybermonday, the eCommerceDay and the annual study on E-Commerce in Argentina.
Before CACE, she was Corporate Communications & CSR Manager at MercadoLibre, Inc. (NASDAQ: MELI), Latin America’s leading e-commerce company, for 12 countries in Latin America and Portugal. At MercadoLibre she was responsible to re-position the company from an auctions´ company to an ecommerce company, to position the company as an IT and security expert, to position its IT leaders and to prepare the company and train employees in communication compliance for a private company which has to become a public one that trades on the NASDAQ, among other achievements.
Lorena worked at Burson-Marsteller for clients in healthcare, pharmaceutical, banking, education and telecom industries and in charge of the Communication Department of NGO RESPONDE, an association that helps in the recovery of vanishing towns in Argentina. She started her Internet career working at DeRemate.com in 2000 (online auctions company).
In 2010, Lorena participated in Fortune/State Department/Vital Voices Mentoring Program for emerging women leaders. Since returning home she has become part of the Honorary Advisory Board and Executive Board of Vital Voices Argentinean Chapter, and she had participated as mentor, trainer and curriculum developer in several mentoring and leadership programs for women lead Small and Medium Enterprises in several countries and regions. Now she is part of VV100 group, the most innovative and committed women through Vital Voices Network.
She was honored with 2011 Goldman Sachs & Fortune Global Women Leaders Award for her contribution to the development of investment projects in women with a multiplier effect for the Argentine chapter of Vital Voices Foundation, together with the Argentine team of former Vital Voices Global Partnership mentees.
She is Ecommerce Invited Professor at the MBA and other corporate programs at IAE Business School, the 2nd best business school in Latin America and one of the top 30 business schools in the world as included at The Financial Times Executive Education Ranking. She is ecommerce professor at Ecommerce and Online Marketing Programs both in person and online at Universidad Blas Plascal in Córdoba, Argentina. She was Ebusiness professor at Universidad de Palermo (UP) and she also teached Public Relations in Crisis and Public Relations and Community Marketing at Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales (UCES) in Argentina.
Lorena graduated with honors in Public Relations at Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE). She attended a Master in Corporate Communications at Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales (UCES).
She is fluent in English, French and Portuguese and has basic knowledge of Italian and Dutch.
