Lorena Díaz Quijano is the expert in Digital Transformation and Digital Business at LinkedIn Learning. More than 1 million people have attended her online trainings on Digital Transformation and Digital Tools and Resources. Half of which are Women. Some of her courses are part of the TOP most viewed trainings during the Pandemic.

She was a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to create the Digital Talent Development Program for the Digital Agenda of Argentina.

Together with the eCommerce Institute and CENPROMYPE, she coordinates the E-Commerce Capacity Building Program for Central America, funded by the State Department. Where more than 140 consultants have been trained to be trainers for more than 500 SMEs in the region during the pilot test of the program. The program seeks to leave installed capacity on eCommerce in the Central American business ecosystem.

At Digital House, the largest coding school in Latin America, she is a Trainer in Digital Business, Digital Transformation and Remote Work for In Company programs. She is also a co-developer of the Digital Talent Program. The program helps companies prepare human resources to develop the digital transformation of their businesses.

She was Managing Director of the Argentine E-commerce Chamber (CACE). At CACE she organized and co-organized the Cybermonday, the eCommerceDay and the annual study on E-Commerce in Argentina.

Before CACE, she was Corporate Communications & CSR Manager at MercadoLibre, Inc. (NASDAQ: MELI), Latin America’s leading e-commerce company, for 12 countries in Latin America and Portugal. At MercadoLibre she was responsible to re-position the company from an auctions´ company to an ecommerce company and to prepare the company and train employees in communication compliance to become a public company that trades on the NASDAQ, among other achievements.

Lorena worked at Burson-Marsteller for clients in healthcare, pharmaceutical, banking, education and telecom industries.

In 2010, Lorena participated in Fortune/State Department/Vital Voices Mentoring Program for emerging women leaders. Since returning home she has become part of the Honorary Advisory Board and Executive Board of Vital Voices Argentinean Chapter (VVA), and she had participated as mentor, trainer and curriculum developer in several mentoring and leadership programs for women lead Small and Medium Enterprises in several countries and regions. She is part of VV100 group, the most innovative and committed women through Vital Voices Network and board member of Vital Voices Global Partnership. She was honored with 2011 Goldman Sachs & Fortune Global Women Leaders Award for her contribution to the development of investment projects in women with a multiplier effect for the Argentine chapter of VVGP, together with the Argentine team of former Vital Voices Global Partnership mentees.

She was Ecommerce Invited Professor at the MBA and other corporate programs at IAE Business School, the 2nd best business school in Latin America and one of the top 30 business schools in the world as included at The Financial Times Executive Education Ranking.

Lorena graduated with honors in Public Relations at Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE). She attended a Master in Corporate Communications at Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales y Sociales (UCES). And she graduated in Tech Entrepreneurship at Stanford University.

She is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese and has basic knowledge of Italian and Dutch.
