Kristin Campbell

Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Hilton Worldwide


Kristin Campbell is Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Hilton Worldwide. An experienced executive and global legal leader with more than 25 years as a practicing lawyer, Ms. Campbell joined Hilton Worldwide in June 2011, taking responsibility for the company’s global legal, compliance and government relations functions. In this role, she works directly with the Board of Directors and supports CEO initiatives, leading a team of over 50 in-house lawyers located around the world. In addition, Ms. Campbell is the executive sponsor of Hilton’s Women’s Team Member Resource Group, which seeks to foster the growth and empowerment of women in the professional world.

Prior to joining Hilton, Ms. Campbell was senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Staples, Inc., an international office products company. In addition to oversight of the legal team at Staples, she also had responsibility for elements of corporate responsibility, including environmental sustainability. Ms. Campbell was also the charter executive for the launch of the employee women’s resource group in 2008.

In her roles as general counsel for large multinational companies, she has had experience in board work and corporate governance, securities and corporate finance, regulatory compliance, M&A, commercial transactions, litigation, real estate, labor and employment, in both the U.S. domestic and international arenas.

Ms. Campbell is a member of the Board of Directors of Office Depot, Inc., a U.S. publicly traded office supply retailer. She has also served on the boards of various trade and non-profit organizations, and currently is a member of the Board of Directors of Vital Voices Global Partnership and the Advisory Board of New Perimeter. Previously she has served on the boards of the Association of Corporate Counsel, Bay Cove Human Services, and The Trustees of Reservations.

Ms. Campbell began her career as a lawyer with the law firm Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster in Boston and then joined Goodwin Proctor for several years. Ms. Campbell is a graduate of Cornell Law School.
