Haydee is the Director of Craftco, a unique business which aims to promote fun and creative arts and crafts activities for children. Craftco has a studio that provides arts and crafts classes and activities so that children can learn while enjoying and having fun expressing themselves in creative ways. The activities are also offered in private homes, during birthday celebrations and other special events, as well as at schools. Craftco also designs interactive entertainment spaces for children within malls that include temporary playgrounds, giant games, art spaces. Their products are personalized and original, with upwards of 50 original designs produced per year. Haydee’s areas of expertise include marketing, creativity, design and developing projects. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication Design from Purdue University. Haydee also owns two other businesses, Slime Club and Anadrio, and is the Manager of a non-profit program working with women affected by the Fuego volcano eruption in the Alotenango region of Guatemala.
What Haydee hopes to gain from the VV GROW Fellowship:
Haydee hopes to learn about tools for business administration as well as how to organize and expand a company. She also hopes to learn from the other women about their difficulties, the strategies they use to overcome them, as well as their success and positive impact stories.
