The 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW 70) will take place from March 10–21, 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. As the UN’s largest annual gathering focused on gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls, CSW brings together governments, civil society organizations, advocates, and global leaders to evaluate progress, address emerging challenges, and advance solutions for women’s rights worldwide.
This year, Vital Voices Global Partnership will convene and collaborate with partners throughout the week to spotlight legal reform, community-driven justice, and the leadership of women advancing change in their communities and countries.
Through panel discussions, collaborative dialogues, and partner-hosted events, Vital Voices will contribute to critical conversations on strengthening justice systems, addressing gender-based violence, and advancing women’s leadership in shaping more equitable societies.
