Enas Abdelaziz

Enas is the Positive Planet International Country Director managing the country program portfolio of EUR 5M for MSMEs Business Development, Women’ s Empowerment, Employability, Financial Inclusion, and Social Enterprise Development projects. Enas has more than 15 years working in international development. Enas worked at Planet Finance Egypt previously as a Microfinance Projects Manager; she managed the PPI FreemE project linking microloans with renewable energy and energy efficient use. She has taken the lead on different gender studies (IFC market research on Women-owned SMEs’ Access to Finance, Goldman Sachs/AUC Study on Female Entrepreneurship in Egypt: Motives, Opportunities and Barriers for success).

Before joining Positive Planet International, Enas worked for Catholic Relief Services (CRS) managing a portfolio of USD 4M emergency and relief projects. Previously, Enas worked for the Egyptian Government as a senior economist handling mainly international agreements and reform projects in close collaboration with different donor agencies (European Union, OECD, World Bank & USAID). She is also a Business Lecturer at School of Business in Misr International University (MIU).

Enas was selected to be part of the 2020 FORTUNE-U.S. Department of State Global Women’ s Mentoring Program.
