Emma Dicks is CEO of the educational technology social enterprise CodeSpace, which she launched with two partners in 2017 to promote creative digital solutions to social challenges through teaching coding skills to different audiences. She is responsible for defining operational strategy, monitoring service delivery and developing new business opportunities and partnerships. At the same time, Ms. Dicks is Director of the non-profit Code for Cape Town, which she founded in 2014 to teach coding to high school girls. She is currently mentoring her alumni to take over the daily operations. Ms. Dicks has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in Management Studies.
