Co-Founder and Operation Manager, GARBALISER SAL
Zeinab Ismail is the Co-Founder and Operations Manager of Garbaliser SAL, a Lebanese circular economy and agri-tech company that transforms organic waste and biomass into practical agricultural solutions. In her role, she supports daily operations, field coordination, production follow-up, farmer engagement and communication with partners, municipalities and community stakeholders.
Garbaliser’s mission is to turn waste into value while supporting farmers with more sustainable and accessible solutions. The company works on Samadi, a liquid plant growth promoter; Hadum, a decentralized organic waste digestion system; and scalable production models that help communities manage organic waste locally.
Through this work, Zeinab contributes to environmental protection, farmer resilience, waste reduction and local economic opportunities. Garbaliser’s impact supports several UN Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
Zeinab is an electrical engineer with experience in operations, entrepreneurship, sustainability and field implementation. She is driven by the belief that environmental challenges can become real opportunities for farmers, communities and future generations.
