Wendy Leong

Wendy is a serial entrepreneur and an innovator with more than 20 years of product design and development experience in software communications technologies. She co-founded her first company in 1998 and has been developing communications solutions since 2005 for the financial industry with clients in ASEAN and the Middle East region.

In 2019, she founded Mobiva, a technology start-up that helps businesses build effective remote teams by empowering them with the capabilities to design individualized automated workflows and determine how they connect, communicate, collaborate, and interact better to achieve optimized business outcomes.

Mobiva is one of the winners of Asian Development Bank’s DigitalAgainstCovid-19 Global Hackathon for its “Work from Anywhere” collaboration tools where remote teams can connect and collaborate in real-time seamlessly. Since the pandemic outbreak, Wendy has focused on using mobile technology to solve real-world problems today and has since developed a mobile healthcare platform comprising medical assistance, quarantine and vaccine management for inter-agency collaboration targeted at low-income and vulnerable communities.

She is passionate about driving digital transformation for SMEs in the ASEAN region and empowering them with digital tools to become more efficient and resilient against future business disruptions.

Wendy is a strong advocate for women in technology and hopes to inspire more women to become technology innovators. She spent her undergraduate years in Melbourne, Australia completing her Electrical Engineering degree from Monash University and is an alumnus for Manchester Business School. She is a strong advocate for women in technology and hopes to inspire more girls to become technology innovators. Her vision is to build a better world by creating equitable economic access for all.
