Veronica Soto

Veronica is the Owner of VSP Coaching Aduanero y Consultoria Estrategica, a legal and foreign trade consulting firm. VSP Coaching Aduanero y Consultoria Estrategica offers legal and business compliance consulting, trainings on commerce law, litigation services, assistance with securing AEO/OEA certifications, and preventive audits. Veronica’s own expertise includes legal consulting, foreign trade (specifically imports) and business management. In addition to her work for VSP Coaching Aduanero y Consultoria Estrategica, Veronica serves as a partner at GID Industries S.A. de C.V., and as legal director and partner at Ms Trucking and Montacargas Store. She previously served as the National President of the 10,000 Mujeres Unidas por Mexico and was a 2018 Cherie Blair Foundation mentee. Veronica also took part in Vital Voices’ Global Ambassadors Program in 2017 in Los Angeles, California. She belongs to the Mexico chapter of WE Connect International, 10,000 Mujeres Unidas por México, International Trade Centre’s SheTrades, and Coparmex Celaya where she serves as the President of the Committee of Business Women. She holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Lasallista Benavente, a Masters of Constitutional Law from the Universidad Iberoamericana, a foreign trade certification from COFOCE, and has taken part in AOTS Japan’s Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management program.

What Veronica hopes to gain from the VV GROW Fellowship:

Veronica is eager to connect with other fellows and is already looking forward to the day when it is safe to arrange meetings in person. She is also excited to generate business opportunities and increase employment among the cohort.

What Veronica can offer other fellows:

Veronica can provide her peers with legal or entrepreneurship mentoring. Specifically, she can offer her legal knowledge of importing products to Mexico. She is also happy to partner with other fellows to offer online conferences, business meetings or panels on successful women.
