Valerie Chatindo is the Founder of Masibanda Pride, a communications and storytelling initiative that supports civil society organisations and grassroots movements with accessible, strategic, and impactful communication. The initiative exists to amplify underrepresented voices by translating community work, advocacy, and social impact into compelling narratives across digital and creative platforms.
Professionally, she works with Teach For Zimbabwe, where she contributes to communications and storytelling that document education experiences in rural and underserved communities. She also works with Kuyenda Collective, supporting education research and advocacy through participatory storytelling and community engagement. In addition, she is the founder of Shumba Literary Magazine, a creative platform focused on literary expression and youth storytelling, including school-based writing and creative development initiatives.
