Valeria Rodríguez Felgueras is the visionary behind El Encuentro (www.fincaelencuentro.es), a luxury rural retreat nestled in the Sierra de Gredos, Spain. Designed as a sanctuary for families and individuals seeking meaningful reconnection, El Encuentro offers a premium digital detox experience. With a focus on sustainability and well-being, the retreat provides exclusive stays in a secluded eco-luxury finca, where guests can immerse themselves in forest adventures, creative workshops, and guided reflection circles—all without digital distractions. Through this initiative, Valeria has created a space where families rediscover the joy of presence, strengthening their bonds away from the noise of modern life.

Beyond El Encuentro, Valeria is an accomplished business strategist and global advocate for women’s entrepreneurship. She currently serves as European Growth and Engagement Manager at WEConnect International, a global network dedicated to connecting women-owned businesses with qualified corporate buyers, expanding gender-inclusive sourcing practices across Europe.

With a multicultural background in Argentina, Mexico, and Spain, Valeria has spent over eight years as Chapter Chair of the Women Presidents Organization (WPO) in Spain and Latin America, fostering leadership among women entrepreneurs who have surpassed the startup phase and are scaling their businesses.

Valeria has also been a mentor for initiatives like the IE Women Initiative in Madrid (2021) and the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women in the UK (2015). She holds a degree in Communications and Translation from the University of Buenos Aires.
