Uchenna Ibe is the founder and lead designer of Ivy League Collections Limited, a sustainable contemporary and traditional textile inspired interior design and soft furnishing company. The company designs, manufactures, repurposes, and sells ready-to-use home furnishings throughout retail stores in Nigeria. Uchenna has empowered and impacted the lives of over 800 young women in acquiring tailoring and vocational design skills.
Uchenna holds a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from Walden University and is an alumnus of Cornell University’s Women Entrepreneurship Program. A seasoned Certified Relationship, Marriage, and Family Counselor, Uchenna is a pre-marriage training facilitator for the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos and an advocate for natural family planning. She is an alumnus of the Miller Institute for Social Entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University and the Bettany Centre for Management at Cranfield University in the United Kingdom.
Uchenna is involved in the Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), an Associate Member and Mentor at Women in Management, Business and Public Services (WIMBIZ), and a Country Leader in the African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (AWEC). She was selected for the 10,000 Women Growth Fellows Program, run by Goldman Sachs.
