Tu Nguyen is the Co-Founder of CAS Energy, a Vietnam-based technology company focused on renewable energy and sustainable agriculture. With over 16 years of experience in automation, she leads the company’s strategy, innovation, and partnerships to drive green technology solutions for rural and farming communities.
CAS Energy integrates rooftop solar systems with climate-smart agricultural practices, enabling farmers to produce both food and renewable energy on the same land. This approach promotes efficient resource use, reduces carbon emissions, and supports energy independence. The company contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by creating green jobs for local residences, especially vulnerable people in developing regions.
Under her leadership, CAS Energy is playing an active role in Vietnam’s transition toward a low-carbon economy and supports the national Net Zero by 2050 target. The company’s work emphasizes environmental responsibility, social inclusion, and technological innovation.
Tu is driven by a strong commitment to climate action and community empowerment. She is passionate about creating inclusive, sustainable solutions that improve livelihoods while protecting the planet. She holds a degree in Engineering and continues to advocate for renewable energy and environmentally responsible practices across Southeast Asia.
