Tila Cappelletto is Co-Founder and Assembly Chair of Wiki Editoras LX (WELX), a feminist Portuguese-speaking Wikimedia community dedicated to advancing knowledge equity and reducing gender bias through open knowledge. A Brazilian-born, multilingual social impact leader based in the Iberian Peninsula, she brings over 20 years of international experience across Spain, Portugal, the United States, and Brazil.

Her career spans roles at the Wikimedia Foundation, Spain’s Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, Santander Foundation, Discovery Networks, The Walt Disney Company and International Film Festivals. Her work sits at the intersection of culture, media, and open knowledge, focusing on expanding access to information, strengthening cultural participation, and improving representation in digital ecosystems.

She holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Heritage Management from Complutense University of Madrid.
