Takia is the owner and lead make-up artist at Accessmatized, a unique and innovative make-up artistry company that is reimaging the make-up industry. They do this by providing professional, affordable, and reliable make-up artistry services that meet their clients’ needs and busy schedules while helping to facilitate their ability to be their most confident selves. Accessmatized offers appointments as early as 4am and as late as 11pm; as well as providing clients service location options which include a location of their choosing. Accessmatized has their own professional make-up studio and the Pretty Mobile, Baltimore DMV’s first mobile make-up studio. Pretty Mobile is a 16-passenger wheel chair equipped vehicle that has been transformed to hold up to 3 make-up artists, 9 clients, a small dressing room, refreshment station, and Wi-Fi. Accessmatized main services include make-up application for weddings, special occasions, special effects, body painting, videography, photography, and professional. The business is planning to grow and also start expanding the products and services they offer to include services such as eyebrow tinting and individual lash-extensions. Takia is a board member at Elle Mentoring and is experienced in marketing, team building, customer service, and business management. She earned her B.A. in History with a minor in Economics and Public Policy from the University of Baltimore, and is a Maryland State Certified Make-Up Artist, received her Make-Up Artistry Certificate from the Von Lee School of Esthetics, and earned her Esthetics License as an apprentice under Lakia Diggs of The Kia Experience.
