Economic Empowerment

Tainara Caldas is the Founder and CEO of Nai, an HRtech startup dedicated to connecting vulnerable populations—particularly individuals from low-income and low-literacy backgrounds—to the formal labor market. By leveraging artificial intelligence and WhatsApp, Nai eliminates traditional barriers like CVs and written applications, offering an accessible and dignified hiring process. Through strong partnerships with community organizations, Nai builds trust and fosters meaningful engagement with underserved groups, while helping employers reduce turnover by matching candidates more closely to job requirements.

With over 15 years of experience in project planning, fundraising, and social impact, Tainara has held leadership roles at {reprograma}, Habitat for Humanity, and Litro de Luz, working across Brazil and Europe. She holds a degree in Business Administration from UNIFESP and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Engineering and Sustainable Development at UFES, leading inclusive initiatives that challenge systemic inequality and advance sustainable development.

“As a visionary leader, I dismantle exclusionary systems and build bold, human-centered solutions that redefine who gets to belong—and thrive—in the future of work.”
