Supriya Paul is the Co-founder and CEO of Josh Talks, a social enterprise that empowers India’s youth through storytelling, skill development, and digital inclusion. In her role, Supriya leads strategy, partnerships, and impact innovation, steering the company’s mission to level the playing field for young Indians from Tier II, III, and rural regions.

Josh Talks creates culturally resonant video content in over 10 Indian languages, offers a mobile-first English learning app called Josh Skills, and develops community-driven campaigns in partnership with governments, tech platforms, and civil society. The company’s work directly advances UN SDGs 4 (Quality Education), 5 (Gender Equality), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure).

Under Supriya’s leadership, Josh Talks has reached over 200 million people monthly and enabled over 750,000 individuals to learn spoken English and gain employability skills. She is currently working on a new product line to pioneer efforts to ensure India’s cultural and linguistic diversity is represented in the global AI ecosystem by creating multilingual speech datasets across 70+ languages.

Her notable impact campaigns include Make Your Mark (which led to 200,000+ voter ID registrations among first-time youth voters), GOAL (empowering tribal youth digitally), and Digital Beti (bridging the gendered digital divide in partnership with CSC and MeitY).

What drives Supriya is the belief that where you come from should not determine where you go. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University and is an alumna of the Stanford LEAD Executive Program.
