Sunika Joshi

Focus Areas

Joshi is the Co-Founder of Lighthouse Neural, a mental health initiative grounded in an ecological perspective on wellbeing. Lighthouse works across multiple levels, designing mental health tools for schools, communities, women, and young people. Recognizing the urgency of the global mental health crisis, Joshi advocates for integrated mental health support across workplaces, schools, community building, policy, and healthcare– approaches that decolonize mental health and uphold human rights.

A Chevening and Erasmus Scholar, Asian Global Fellow, and Harpswell alumna, she continuously fosters dialogue, discussion, and debate on key wellbeing issues. Joshi has worked at the intersections of grassroots action and systemic change, believing that mental health justice is inseparable from social justice.
