Focus Areas

Suma is the Founder and CEO of Three Little Ducks, a pediatric health and development company in Honolulu, Hawai’i, created in 2022 so that every ‘ohana can access developmental support during the first three years of life, when it matters most. What began as a solo practice is now a team of six licensed clinicians offering pediatric physical therapy, speech-language pathology, baby and toddler classes, and community events for keiki from birth to age three.

A pediatric physical therapist with more than a decade of clinical experience across multiple Hawaiian islands, Suma began her career in the state’s Early Intervention and Department of Education systems. She has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Hawai’i West O’ahu, Hawai’i Pacific University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, and MNR University in India, and is a published children’s book author, and HCAN’s Innovator of the Year.
