The Women’s Rehabilitative Center (WOREC) and The School of Nonviolence are committed to empowering individuals and building peaceful communities. WOREC advocates for women’s rights to dignified work and freedom of mobility, while The School of Nonviolence fosters connection through Nonviolence Communication, Emotional Intelligence, and Socio-Emotional Learning.

Timilsina is a psychosocial counselor at WOREC, where she supports survivors of gender-based violence and victims of war, helping them address trauma and foster emotional recovery through healthcare and psychosocial support, as well as personal and group counseling. As the program coordinator at The School of Nonviolence, Timilsina leads workshops on Nonviolent Communication and Social and Emotional Learning, empowering participants with skills for self-awareness and relationship building, while fostering a culture of peace and nonviolence in the communities she serves.
