Sophie Sandberg is an artist, activist, professional speaker and founder of the popular initiative against street harassment, Catcalls of NYC. For her undergraduate honors thesis, she researched the impact of NYC-based street art that responds to racial and gender-based violence and received high honors. She has five years of experience with communications, marketing and non-profit work. Now, she is developing a sustainable financial structure for “Chalk Back,” an international youth-led movement inspired by Catcalls of NYC.
