Sophia Aye Aye Aung is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Kokkoya Organics, a regenerative agriculture social enterprise based in Yangon, Myanmar. Through Kokkoya and its Healthy Soil Movement, she works alongside local farmers to improve soil health, promote regenerative farming practices, and build more resilient local food systems. She is equally passionate about reconnecting urban communities – especially young people – with where their food comes from through hands-on farm experiences, workshops, and education.

Sophia has co-founded Kokkoya since 2017, growing it into a community hub that brings together farming, food, learning, and environmental stewardship. She also co-founded SheCreates Myanmar, a grassroot network supporting women-led businesses through collaboration and ecosystem building. Her work focuses on creating practical, community-driven solutions that restore both people and the land.
