Over the past two decades, Sanaz Javadi Farahzadi has built a versatile legal and development career across four continents. She began as a corporate legal counsel, providing expertise to companies across various sectors. This experience later transitioned into senior advisory and mentoring roles with UN agencies, businesses, and civil society groups.
Farahzadi possess a strong foundation in international trade, intellectual property, mentoring, education, and project execution. She is deeply passionate about fostering innovation, development, and entrepreneurship assisting women and youth. Through legal guidance, mentoring, and awareness programs, she creates a lasting, positive impact.
Farahzadi proudly serves as the Vice President of Partnerships for the Women in International Trade organization. This international women’s association, based in Washington D.C., champions women’s economic empowerment across its 40+ chapters worldwide. Moreover, she focuses on inclusion, social and economic entrepreneurship, and is currently coaching 10 women-led businesses from Asia, the MENA region, Africa, and Europe as a part of the World Intellectual Property Organization Project (WIPO) and the International Trade Center.
She has worked in more than 4 continents with UN agencies, governments, and the private sector, specifically with WIPO, International Trade Center, Swiss government, EU, WTO Gender hub, UN Women, IOM, World Bank and Civil Society.
