Robbinah Hakiza

Focus Areas

Hakiza is the Founder and Director of the Imbabazi Center for Women and Children (ICWAC) in Uganda. Driven by her upbringing in a community that undervalued girls’ education, she has dedicated her life to empowering vulnerable children, girls, and widowed caregivers.

Through ICWAC, she leads transformative initiatives that combat poverty, disease, and injustice across the region via integrated education, healthcare, and economic development programs.With over 13 years of humanitarian and Development experience, she possesses a proven track record in impactful leadership.Her professional background includes driving key programs for Catholic Relief Services’ USAID Farmer-to-Farmer initiative, CNFA, and the Uganda Red Cross Society among others. Robbinah has a Bacherlors Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management, Certificate in Women Leadership in Community Development from Canada’s Coady Institute, she is a graduate of the OakSeed Executive Leadership Course from Institute for National Transformation.
