Reanne Olivier is the Co-founder and CEO of Africa Matters Initiative, a youth-led organization transforming how young Africans lead, innovate, and contribute to the continent’s growth. Through leadership development, mentorship, and social entrepreneurship programs, Olivier creates opportunities for young people across 23 African countries to build skills, connections, and solutions that drive community impact. She is passionate about creating ecosystems where young Africans are not only prepared to lead the future, but are trusted and supported to shape it.

Olivier brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, program management, and instructional design. Prior to founding Africa Matters Initiative, she served as Program Manager at Princeton in Africa and USA Director for Development and Alumni Relations at Stellenbosch University. She holds an MSc in Africa & International Development from the University of Edinburgh and was recognized as a Top 25 Women in Management Africa awardee in 2024.
