ERWAP Energy aims to enable good health and well-being by creating sustainable communities in Nigeria. The social enterprise is working to do so by implementing waste-to-energy solutions, promoting sustainable agriculture, and educating on climate change. The founder, Rashida A. Bamgbola also known as Rashidat A. Bamgbose, is an African social entrepreneur with extensive experience in economics, tech entrepreneurship, and energy economics. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Nigerian Association of Energy Economists (NAEE) and Women In Mining In Nigeria (WIMIN). Rashida also has a strong background in the gemstones industry, specifically in value addition, gemology, and export.
