Raquel Alonso is the co-founder of Espacios de Educación Superior, a think tank that fosters a culture of continuous learning across Ibero-America and Spain. Its mission is to promote education as a driver of empowerment and social transformation, equipping individuals and institutions to co-create inclusive solutions for a more equitable and sustainable future.
With two decades of leadership experience, Alonso has held senior roles in the Spanish Parliament, Ministries, regional government, and international organizations. She currently serves as Director of International and Institutional Relations at CES Cardenal Cisneros, affiliated with Complutense University of Madrid, where she leads global strategy, alliances, and international engagement. Her earlier work with UNICEF and Entreculturas reinforced her belief in education as a tool to reduce inequality and empower vulnerable communities.
