Priscilla Akoto Bamfo is the founder of Shepherd’s Mills, a company that produces the Zinaria brand of rice by establishing rice mills in rural communities. Zinaria Rice is produced through the engagement of 300 rural women who provide rice parboiling services. By 2025, Shepherd’s Mills will engage 1,500 more women.

Ms. Akoto Bamfo currently serves as a mentor for Youth Challenge International (YCI) and has served in several communities for Equip hubs and YCI. She has also worked not only as a banker who was instrumental in setting up a bank’s agricultural finance desk but also as an agricultural finance consultant. She actively creates and volunteers in reading and values education programs for children.
