Sharma is the Founder and CEO of The Sarvodya Collective, which works towards building informed, enabling, and inclusive communities around people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in India. Taking her lived experience as a special sibling, she cultivates active allies across schools, workplaces, and communities, shifting societal attitudes and mindsets from awareness to deep acceptance.

Before founding Sarvodya, Sharma spent over a decade in corporate strategy and portfolio management at Pearson plc, and Central Square Foundation. She has served as a trustee of The Bell Foundation and as a school governor in the UK.
