Panagiota Polykarpou is the Co-Founder of Be an Ally Foundation and co-leads Girls in STEAM Academy Cyprus, one of the organization’s core initiatives focused on empowering girls and women to explore STEAM pathways beyond traditional gender expectations. Through workshops, campaigns, and partnerships with schools and industry, the initiative works to address the structural barriers that continue to limit girls’ participation in STEAM fields in Cyprus.

Polykarpou has led youth and social impact initiatives centered on gender equality, inclusion, education, and leadership. She participated in the SUSI Program on Social Entrepreneurship & Leadership by the U.S. Department of State and was recognized through The Female Factor’s Voices of a New Era of Leaders and the Young Women of Europe Award for her work supporting girls and young women in Cyprus.
