Pamela Kuwali is the National Director for Civil Society Agriculture Network (CISANET) in Malawi. In this role, she is a champion for agriculture transformation. She is a development practitioner by training, with over 17 years of experience with various organizations in leadership and program management positions related to education, health and agriculture.

Prior to CISANET, Pamela worked with National Democratic Institute (NDI) as a Senior Program Manager. Before NDI, she worked with the UN World Food Program as Head of Policy, Donor Relations and Public Information, and the Embassy of the United States in Malawi as a Public Diplomacy Specialist.

Pamela received a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Development from the University of Birmingham, UK and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Malawi. She also holds several certificates in policy advocacy, development outreach and communication, and public diplomacy from various international institutions including the US State Department Foreign Service Institute in Washington, D.C.

She was selected as a Fellow for the first VV Engage Cohort.
