Oluwaranti Damilola Oluwatunmise is a multi-faceted leader with a dual mission: empowering marginalized women and girls, and building a robust tech ecosystem across Africa. Damilola is the Founder of TechHer4Change, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting abused and marginalized women and girls. The organization provides this demographic with critical resources, such as equipping them with the tools to thrive in the digital age, mental health coaching, and job opportunities. Since it was founded in 2023, TechHer4Change has facilitated the training of 200+ women in tech skills, such as data analytics, frontend web development, and product design.
Damilola is also the Founder of CodeSchool Africa, a social enterprise through which she tackles the challenge of limited access to high-quality tech education using the innovative approach of blended learning combined with an LMS platform, interactive virtual classes, and hands-on in-person training in the organization’s training facility called CodeHubs. CodeSchool Africa has empowered over 1,000 young Africans with in-demand tech skills, fostering a stronger tech talent pipeline across the continent.
