Oluwakemi is the Chief Executive Officer of Crystal Skin Ventures Ltd, a dermacare company that specializes in providing unique skin services covering both medical and aesthetic skin treatments under the umbrella of skin management. Crystal Skin Ventures works to deliver healthy and beautiful skin with no downtime. Services include skin patch tests, skin biopsy, cauterization, cryotherapy, acne treatment, burn treatment, massage, botox, complexion and anti-aging cream prescriptions and are provided using the safest available technologically advanced procedures. Crystal Skin Ventures also produces client tailored skin care products that includes face cream, body cream, body shampoo, sea weed soap, cleanser and toner, body scrub, acne therapy, burn therapy and specially formulated insect repelling skin creams for school children. Oluwakemi has also recently developed a new organic baby soap to address the numbers of babies with rashes that were brought to her skin care center. Oluwakemi’s vision is to provide better skin care products in Nigeria by 2020, all of her products aim towards achieving that goal. Her products and services are inclined towards promoting the wellness of the skin by ensuring the use of only safe and approved ingredients in formulating the skin care products. She hopes to have her business be the skin clinic of choice leading in delivering world class skin care products and services. Crystal Skin Ventures is also leading in addressing many types of skin related problems in her community. A recent chicken pox outbreak in secondary and primary schools in Lagos led her to start a campaign to inform schools about how to manage cases. Oluwakemi and her team provided hand sanitizer and informed schools about managing and containing chicken pox. She is also working to address skin bleaching and its attendant harmful health consequences. Oluwakemi is currently also the Team Leader at the Ruby Group of NECA Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NNEW) and the Coordinator Lagos Zone for Markengee Touchinglives International (NGO). Her areas of expertise include financial management, strategic planning, team building, goal setting and actualization. She has completed a B.Sc of Biochemistry from the University of Ilorin, a IHBC Level 2 Award in Facial Massage and Skin Care at the London School of Beauty and Makeup, a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cosmetology at the Institute of Laser and Aesthetic Medicine and a Certificate in Cosmetic Chemistry at the International School of Aesthetics and Spa (ISAS)

What Oluwakemi hopes to gain from the VV GROW Fellowship: Oluwakemi hopes to learn skills and techniques to map out a clear strategy on driving her project and mission in support of Sustainable Development Goal 3 (good health and wellbeing for all) most especially for children and women through my practice across Nigeria and Africa at large. She also hope to learn how to improve communication, motivation and leadership skills.

What Oluwakemi can offer other fellows: Oluwakemi can offer to share knowledge on skin care and skin management. She believes that a tree does not make a forest and in her capacity she would like to attract people to her own cause but also to learn about how she can influence theirs.
