Noel Kokwon is the Co-founder of Ocha Kwetu, an organization supporting rural communities in Kenya. She encourages young people to return to their roots, share their skills, and uplift local livelihoods. While many are drawn to cities, she advocates for the potential in rural areas. She focuses on environmental conservation and regenerative agriculture, offering voluntary agronomic expertise. Noel also mentors rural children, inspiring them to excel despite challenges.
Kokwon works at a research institute studying the impact of climate change on biodiversity and applies her knowledge to enhance farming practices in rural areas. She also mentors children to dream big. She was involved in Model United Nations, representing various countries’ policies, and even won the Distinguished Delegate Award.
