At the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), Bhubaneswar, Nikita Ahya is driving efforts to empower indigenous communities by providing transformative education and fostering leadership among tribal students and alumni. Her work focuses on increasing representation and participation of indigenous individuals in various sectors, ensuring they are equipped to become changemakers in society. Through strong industry-academia collaborations, Ahya is implementing intensive skill development and employability programs that open pathways for indigenous learners into public, private, and social sectors, as well as grassroots initiatives.
