Monika Biswas

Focus Areas

The Agami Education Foundation is a voluntary, community-based initiative that works to ensure education rights for children from marginalized backgrounds in Bangladesh. It creates opportunities for underprivileged students through access to education, mentoring, and leadership development. Alongside this, Biswas contributes to national advocacy at The Leprosy Mission International Bangladesh (TLMB), where she leads initiatives on healthcare equity, stigma reduction, and policy change.

Previously, Biswas held senior roles with ActionAid Bangladesh and World Vision Bangladesh, where she also advanced programs on gender justice, child protection, and climate resilience. She also serves as Chairperson of the World Student Christian Federation Asia Pacific (WSCF -AP), and General Secretary of Bangladesh SCM, guiding global and national networks in ecumenical youth leadership, advocacy, and interfaith dialogue.
