Child Protection Program Officer, KAFA Violence & Exploitation

Mira serves as the Program Officer for the Child Protection from Sexual and Gender Based Violence Program at KAFA (Enough) Violence and Exploitation. In this role, Ms. Faddoul supports the management of the program, including the design and implementation of projects, activities and trainings. She also helps develop Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Materials covering the topics of child protection, risk mitigation, and the prevention of child sexual violence and sex trafficking in the context of emergencies.

Mira is active in addressing issues of child sex trafficking by mainstreaming prevention and response services for children survivors in the various programs of KAFA. Mira is a social worker graduate and has been a committed employee of KAFA since 2011. Mira took part in establishing the Child Protection from Sexual and Gender Based Violence Program within KAFA and since has piloted many initiatives that have advanced the program and supported KAFA’s efforts to eliminate child sexual exploitation and child trafficking on a national level.
