Melissa Pérez Pérez

Melissa is currently pursuing a degree in Finance at the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM). She is studying to specialize in Strategic Omnichannel Retail Management. Melissa’s personal goal is to support young people and women to recognize their potential as agents of change in their communities. She is the founder of Jóvenes por el mundo and serves as Entrepreneurship Secretary with Jóvenes Empoderando Tlaxcala. She is also an intern at HSBC bank, in the Government Banking and Business Banking departments in the southeast of Mexico. Melissa is developing her Jóvenes por el mundo network, which carries out activities that help young people in Mexico to improve their country by raising awareness of youth participation in culture, sport, social issues and education. Melissa is also passionate about leadership and is a member of the committee of creators of the Leadership Bootcamp and part of the Hi!Tec welcoming team at her university, which reached over 350 people. Melissa strongly believes that everyone has the capacity to make a significant difference if they have the tools, the inspiration and the support they need to transform their country.

Melissa actualmente es estudiante de la Licenciatura en Finanzas del Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM). Esta cursando su enfoque en Strategic Omnichannel Retail Management. Melissa tiene como misión personal empoderar a jóvenes y mujeres para que reconozcan su potencial como agentes de cambio en sus comunidades. Actualmente es fundadora de Jóvenes por el mundo y funge como Secretaria de Emprendimiento en JEM Tlaxcala; además es becaria en el banco HSBC en Banca de Gobierno y Banca Empresarial de la Región suroeste México. Melissa está desarrollando su Red Jóvenes por el mundo en donde realiza actividades que beneficien a los jóvenes de México para que engrandezcan a su país generando conciencia sobre la participación juvenil en los sectores de cultura, deporte, social y educativo. A Melissa también le apasiona el liderazgo en dónde lo involucra al ser parte del Comité de creadores del Booptcamp de liderazgo y del HITEC de su universidad, eventos con un alcance de más de 350 personas. Melissa creé firmemente que cada persona tiene la capacidad de marcar una diferencia significativa si cuenta con las herramientas, la inspiración y el apoyo necesario para transformar su país.
