Maya Siegel is the co-founder of Stories of Consent, a digital project sharing personal stories about how affirmative consent looks and feels. Through community-based education, the project aims to make conversations about safety during sex more accessible, comfortable, and actionable.

Siegel’s experience is in social media strategy and entrepreneurship, where she regularly leads projects for accounts with over 6.3 million followers. At 18 years old, she helped start an environmental nonprofit and at 20 helped form an inclusive period care startup that currently has products in 400+ Target stores nationwide. She has worked in social impact roles since 2017 with leading organizations including Intersectional Environmentalist and Feminist.
