About Matsotso

Matsotso is the Managing Director of Nyamezela Metering, a company that manufactures smart electricity meters and provides revenue management solutions for their residential, commercial and industrial customers that include both individuals and companies. They have a diverse product ranges to satisfy the needs of their customers and they prides themselves in providing innovative high-quality products which are tailor-made including lightning protective, waterproof, temper proof and cost effective metering options. They also provide turnkey and funded solutions for their customers. Matsotso has expertise in finance and accounting management, due diligence, financial modelling, South African taxation and corporate governance and is a chartered accountant and registered auditor. Matsotso belongs to several professional networks including the Woman President Organization, the African Woman Chartered Accountants, and the Institute of Directors and Women Corporate Directors. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences Honors degree from the University of South Africa.

What Matsotso hopes to gain from the VV GROW Fellowship:

Matsotso hopes to learn more about how she can improve her business development and leadership skills to ensure that her business continues to grow. She hopes to network with like-minded entrepreneurs to form smart partnerships where they can work together to expedite the localization of market solutions in Sub-Saharan Africa.
